15 Preface إِنّا أَرسَلنا إِلَيكُم رَسولًا شاهِدًا عَلَيكُم كَما أَرسَلنا إِلىٰ فِرعَونَ رَسولًاYusuf AliWe have sent to you, (O men!) a messenger, to be a witness concerning you,1 even as We sent a messenger to Pharaoh. Our Prophet has to warn his age, i.e., the present age, reclaim it from sin, and be a witness for the righteous and against evil, as Moses did his office in his age.
