36وَإِلىٰ مَديَنَ أَخاهُم شُعَيبًا فَقالَ يا قَومِ اعبُدُوا اللَّهَ وَارجُوا اليَومَ الآخِرَ وَلا تَعثَوا فِي الأَرضِ مُفسِدينَMuhammad AsadAND UNTO [the people of] Madyan [We sent] their brother Shu'ayb,1 who thereupon said: "O my peopie! Worship God [alone], and look forward to the Last Day, and do not act wickedly on earth by spreading corruption!"See note 67 on 7:85.
