2 Preface وَلَيالٍ عَشرٍAhmed AliAnd the Ten Nights,1 The first ten nights of the lunar month when the moon is on the rise, and the last ten nights when she is on the wane. The Surah deals with the law of opposites, light and darkness, rise and fall, as in Nature so in the lives of men and nations.
