22۞ إِنَّ شَرَّ الدَّوابِّ عِندَ اللَّهِ الصُّمُّ البُكمُ الَّذينَ لا يَعقِلونَMuhammad AsadVerily, the vilest of all creatures1 in the sight of God are those deaf, those dumb ones who do not use their reason.Lit., "animals that walk or crawl" (dawab, sing. dabbah ), including man as well.
