Chapter 71

NoahNūḥ ( نوح )

»That surah that opens with the story of the ancient Prophet Noah, the unrelenting Messenger of Resolve, and his obstinately unbelieving people. It is named after Noah (Nūḥ) whose account is related in the surah and further gives details of the life of Noah before the Flood, to encourage the Prophet and warn the disbelievers.«

بِسمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحمٰنِ الرَّحيمِ

Abu Rida: Im Namen Allahs, des Allerbarmers, des Barmherzigen!

إِنّا أَرسَلنا نوحًا إِلىٰ قَومِهِ أَن أَنذِر قَومَكَ مِن قَبلِ أَن يَأتِيَهُم عَذابٌ أَليمٌ

Wahrlich, Wir sandten Noah zu seinem Volk (und sprachen:) "Warne dein Volk, bevor über sie eine schmerzliche Strafe kommt."
