195
أَلَهُم أَرجُلٌ يَمشونَ بِها ۖ أَم لَهُم أَيدٍ يَبطِشونَ بِها ۖ أَم لَهُم أَعيُنٌ يُبصِرونَ بِها ۖ أَم لَهُم آذانٌ يَسمَعونَ بِها ۗ قُلِ ادعوا شُرَكاءَكُم ثُمَّ كيدونِ فَلا تُنظِرونِ

Have they feet to walk with? Or hands to lay hold with? Or eyes to see with? Or ears to hear with? Say: “Call your ?god-partners?,1 scheme (your worst) against me, and give me no respite!
  • Here is a test and a challenge. If the false gods had any power or even existence, collect them all together, and, says the Prophet of God, “Let them do their worst against me.” They cannot; because the whole thing is based on a superstition and a chimaera, (Cf. 11:55).
