But whenever relief reached them, they would say: ‘This is owing to us.’ And when adversity befell them, they would ascribe it as an ill-omen to Musa (Moses) and his companions (of faith). Beware! Their omen (i.e. the evil outcome of their doings) lies with Allah alone. But most of them do not know.
