8وَقالوا لَولا أُنزِلَ عَلَيهِ مَلَكٌ ۖ وَلَو أَنزَلنا مَلَكًا لَقُضِيَ الأَمرُ ثُمَّ لا يُنظَرونَ(Saheeh International)And they say, "Why was there not sent down to him an angel?"1 But if We had sent down an angel, the matter would have been decided;2 then they would not be reprieved. In support of his prophethood (ṣ).They would have been destroyed immediately with no chance for repentance.
