23ثُمَّ لَم تَكُن فِتنَتُهُم إِلّا أَن قالوا وَاللَّهِ رَبِّنا ما كُنّا مُشرِكينَM. H. ShakirThen their excuse would be nothing but that they would say: By Allah, our Lord, we were not polytheists.
