3وَالَّذينَ يُظاهِرونَ مِن نِسائِهِم ثُمَّ يَعودونَ لِما قالوا فَتَحريرُ رَقَبَةٍ مِن قَبلِ أَن يَتَماسّا ۚ ذٰلِكُم توعَظونَ بِهِ ۚ وَاللَّهُ بِما تَعمَلونَ خَبيرٌN. J. DawoodThose that divorce their wives by so saying, and afterwards retract their words, shall free a slave1 before they touch each other again. This you are enjoined to do: God is cognizant of all your actions.As a penalty.
