35يُرسَلُ عَلَيكُما شُواظٌ مِن نارٍ وَنُحاسٌ فَلا تَنتَصِرانِAli UnalThere will be sent on you both, a flame of fire (to burn) and a smoke (to choke); then you will not help each other (to safety or refuge).1God does not allow any jinn that have ill intentions to ascend to the heavens to take something from the conversation of the angels; rather, he destroys them (sūrah 15: 16–18, note 5; sūrah 26: 212, note 37; sūrah 37: 10, note 3; sūrah 67: 5, note 4). However, saintly people can ascend the heavens in spirit. The verse may also be predicting modern firearms, bombs, and missiles.
