104وَإِذا قيلَ لَهُم تَعالَوا إِلىٰ ما أَنزَلَ اللَّهُ وَإِلَى الرَّسولِ قالوا حَسبُنا ما وَجَدنا عَلَيهِ آباءَنا ۚ أَوَلَو كانَ آباؤُهُم لا يَعلَمونَ شَيئًا وَلا يَهتَدونَN. J. DawoodWhen they are told: ‘Come to that which God has revealed, and to the Apostle,’ they reply: ‘Sufficient for us is the faith we inherited from our fathers,’ even though their fathers knew nothing and were not rightly guided.
