20وَيَقولُ الَّذينَ آمَنوا لَولا نُزِّلَت سورَةٌ ۖ فَإِذا أُنزِلَت سورَةٌ مُحكَمَةٌ وَذُكِرَ فيهَا القِتالُ ۙ رَأَيتَ الَّذينَ في قُلوبِهِم مَرَضٌ يَنظُرونَ إِلَيكَ نَظَرَ المَغشِيِّ عَلَيهِ مِنَ المَوتِ ۖ فَأَولىٰ لَهُمN. J. DawoodThe faithful say: ‘If only a Chapter were revealed!’ But when a forthright Chapter is revealed and war is mentioned in it, you see the infirm of heart staring at you as though they are fainting away for fear of death.
