40وَجَزاءُ سَيِّئَةٍ سَيِّئَةٌ مِثلُها ۖ فَمَن عَفا وَأَصلَحَ فَأَجرُهُ عَلَى اللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّهُ لا يُحِبُّ الظّالِمينَTaqi UsmaniThe recompense of evil is evil like it. Then the one who forgives and opts for compromise has his reward undertaken by Allah. Surely, He does not like the unjust.
