61 Preface اللَّهُ الَّذي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ اللَّيلَ لِتَسكُنوا فيهِ وَالنَّهارَ مُبصِرًا ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَذو فَضلٍ عَلَى النّاسِ وَلٰكِنَّ أَكثَرَ النّاسِ لا يَشكُرونَYusuf AliIt is God Who has1 made the Night for you, that ye may rest therein, and the days as that which helps (you) to see. Verily God is full of Grace and Bounty to men: yet most men give no thanks.The succession of Day and Night in our physical life is frequently appealed to, as a symbol to draw our attention to the Mercy and Bounty of God. If we viewed these things aright, we should serve God and seek Light from Him and Rest from Him, and celebrate His praises with gratitude.
