Sura 4
Aya 92
92

T. B. Irving

(XIII) No believer should kill any other believer unless it happens by mistake. Anyone who kills a believer by mistake should free a believing captive and deliver blood-money to his family unless they forego it as an act of charity. If he was from a nation which is at war with you and yet he was a believer, then free a believing captive; while if he were from a people with whom you have a treaty, then it means blood-money should be delivered to his family and freeing a believing captive. Anyone w ho does not find the wherewithal for it should fast for two consecutive months as penance from God. God is Aware, Wise!
