79ما كانَ لِبَشَرٍ أَن يُؤتِيَهُ اللَّهُ الكِتابَ وَالحُكمَ وَالنُّبُوَّةَ ثُمَّ يَقولَ لِلنّاسِ كونوا عِبادًا لي مِن دونِ اللَّهِ وَلٰكِن كونوا رَبّانِيّينَ بِما كُنتُم تُعَلِّمونَ الكِتابَ وَبِما كُنتُم تَدرُسونَN. J. DawoodNo mortal whom God has given the Scriptures and whom He has endowed with judgement and prophethood would say to men: ‘Worship me instead of God.’ But rather: ‘Be devoted servants of God, for you have taught and studied the Scriptures.’
