16 Preface لَهُم فيها ما يَشاءونَ خالِدينَ ۚ كانَ عَلىٰ رَبِّكَ وَعدًا مَسئولًاYusuf Ali“For them there will be therein all that they wish for: they will dwell (there) for aye: A promise to be prayed for from thy Lord.”1That is the sort of thing-the Goal of God’s Presence-to be prayed for from God, and not ephemeral things, even though they may be good. And that is the sort of thing that God has promised and undertaken to give.
