206 Preface وَإِذا قيلَ لَهُ اتَّقِ اللَّهَ أَخَذَتهُ العِزَّةُ بِالإِثمِ ۚ فَحَسبُهُ جَهَنَّمُ ۚ وَلَبِئسَ المِهادُYusuf AliWhen it is said to him, “Fear God., He is led by arrogance to (more) crime. Enough for him is Hell;-An evil bed indeed (To lie on)1! According to the English saying, “As you have made your bed, so you must lie in it.”
