130 Preface وَمَن يَرغَبُ عَن مِلَّةِ إِبراهيمَ إِلّا مَن سَفِهَ نَفسَهُ ۚ وَلَقَدِ اصطَفَيناهُ فِي الدُّنيا ۖ وَإِنَّهُ فِي الآخِرَةِ لَمِنَ الصّالِحينَAli Quli QaraiAnd who will [ever] renounce Abraham’s creed except one who fools himself? We certainly chose him in the [present] world, and in the Hereafter he will indeed be among the Righteous.1 The station of ‘the Righteous’ referred to in this verse is one which even Abraham will attain in the Hereafter. Cf. 16:122. Otherwise all prophets are, of course, righteous; see 3:39, 46; 6:85; 21:75, 86; 37:112.
