130 Preface وَمَن يَرغَبُ عَن مِلَّةِ إِبراهيمَ إِلّا مَن سَفِهَ نَفسَهُ ۚ وَلَقَدِ اصطَفَيناهُ فِي الدُّنيا ۖ وَإِنَّهُ فِي الآخِرَةِ لَمِنَ الصّالِحينَYusuf AliAnd who turns away from the religion of Abraham but such as debase their souls with folly? Him We chose1 and rendered pure in this world: And he will be in the Hereafter in the ranks of the Righteous.Istafa chose: chose because of purity; chose and purified. It is the same root from which Muṣṭafā is derived, one of the titles of Muḥammad.
