69ثُمَّ لَنَنزِعَنَّ مِن كُلِّ شيعَةٍ أَيُّهُم أَشَدُّ عَلَى الرَّحمٰنِ عِتِيًّاMuhammad Asadand thereupon We shall, indeed, draw forth from every group [of sinners] the ones that had been most determined in their disdainful rebellion against the Most Gracious:1I.e., those who have consciously and deliberately rejected the idea of man's responsibility before God and have thus led their weaker, less conscious fellow-men astray will be consigned to the deepest suffering in the hereafter.
