6 Preface فَلَعَلَّكَ باخِعٌ نَفسَكَ عَلىٰ آثارِهِم إِن لَم يُؤمِنوا بِهٰذَا الحَديثِ أَسَفًاAli Quli QaraiYou are liable to imperil your life for their sake, if they should not believe this discourse,1 out of grief. That is, the Qurʾān.
