29 Preface وَلا تَجعَل يَدَكَ مَغلولَةً إِلىٰ عُنُقِكَ وَلا تَبسُطها كُلَّ البَسطِ فَتَقعُدَ مَلومًا مَحسورًاAli Quli QaraiDo not keep your hand chained to your neck, nor open it altogether,1 or you will sit blameworthy, regretful. That is, neither be miserly nor be a spendthrift.
