66 Preface وَقَضَينا إِلَيهِ ذٰلِكَ الأَمرَ أَنَّ دابِرَ هٰؤُلاءِ مَقطوعٌ مُصبِحينَYusuf AliAnd We made known this decree to him, that the last remnants of those (sinners) should be cut off by the morning.1As the last remnants of the wicked were to be cut off, and as the Mercy of God wished to save every true soul who might be with Lot, God’s decree was made known to Lot, so that he might save his adherents.
