60وَأُتبِعوا في هٰذِهِ الدُّنيا لَعنَةً وَيَومَ القِيامَةِ ۗ أَلا إِنَّ عادًا كَفَروا رَبَّهُم ۗ أَلا بُعدًا لِعادٍ قَومِ هودٍMuhammad AsadAnd they were pursued in this world by [God's] rejection, and [shall finally be overtaken by it] on the Day of Resurrection.1 Oh, verily, [the tribe of] 'Ad denied their Sustainer!
