9 Preface هُوَ الَّذي يُنَزِّلُ عَلىٰ عَبدِهِ آياتٍ بَيِّناتٍ لِيُخرِجَكُم مِنَ الظُّلُماتِ إِلَى النّورِ ۚ وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ بِكُم لَرَءوفٌ رَحيمٌYusuf AliHe is the One Who sends to His Servant1 Manifest Signs, that He may lead you from the depths of Darkness into the Light and verily God is to you most kind and Merciful.The Prophet Muḥammad. The Signs sent to him were: (1) The Ayahs of the Qur-ān, and (2) his life and work, in which God’s Plan and Purpose were unfolded.
