51 Preface وَنُفِخَ فِي الصّورِ فَإِذا هُم مِنَ الأَجداثِ إِلىٰ رَبِّهِم يَنسِلونَYusuf AliThe trumpet shall be1 sounded, when behold! from the sepulchres (men) will rush forth to their Lord!Traditionally, the angel who will sound the Trumpet is Israfil, but the name does not occur in the Qur-ān. The Trumpet is mentioned in many places: e.g., 6:73; 78:18, etc.
