53وَما أَنتَ بِهادِ العُميِ عَن ضَلالَتِهِم ۖ إِن تُسمِعُ إِلّا مَن يُؤمِنُ بِآياتِنا فَهُم مُسلِمونَMuhammad Asadjust as thou canst not lead the blind [of heart] out of their error: none canst thou make hear [thy call] save such as [are willing to] believe in Our messages, and thus surrender themselves unto Us.1Cf. the identical passage in 27:80-81 and the corresponding note 72.
