49وَإِن كانوا مِن قَبلِ أَن يُنَزَّلَ عَلَيهِم مِن قَبلِهِ لَمُبلِسينَMuhammad Asadeven though a short while ago, [just] before it was sent down upon them, they had abandoned all hope!
