59 Preface الَّذي خَلَقَ السَّماواتِ وَالأَرضَ وَما بَينَهُما في سِتَّةِ أَيّامٍ ثُمَّ استَوىٰ عَلَى العَرشِ ۚ الرَّحمٰنُ فَاسأَل بِهِ خَبيرًاYusuf AliHe Who created the heavens and the earth and all that is between, in six days,1 and is firmly established on the Throne (of authority):2 God Most Gracious: ask thou, then, about Him of any acquainted (with such things).3Cf. 7:54 and n. 1031.Seen. 1386 to 10:3.The argument is about the question, “in whom shall we put our trust?” Worldly men put their trust in worldly things: the righteous man only in God. The true distinction will be quite clear from a ray of divine knowledge. If you do not see it all clearly, ask of those who possess such knowledge.
