241 Preface وَلِلمُطَلَّقاتِ مَتاعٌ بِالمَعروفِ ۖ حَقًّا عَلَى المُتَّقينَAhmed AliMaking a fair provision for women who are divorced is the duty of those who are God-fearing and pious.1 See 33:28, where the prophet is commanded to provide his wives handsomely on divorce.
