87قالَ أَمّا مَن ظَلَمَ فَسَوفَ نُعَذِّبُهُ ثُمَّ يُرَدُّ إِلىٰ رَبِّهِ فَيُعَذِّبُهُ عَذابًا نُكرًاMuhammad AsadHe answered: "As for him who does wrong [unto others1] - him shall we, in time, cause to suffer; and thereupon he shall be referred to his Sustainer, and He will cause him to suffer with unnameable suffering.2Cf. 11:117 and the corresponding note 149.I.e., in the hereafter - implying that nothing that pertains to the life to come could ever be imagined or defined in terms of human experience.
