64قالَ ذٰلِكَ ما كُنّا نَبغِ ۚ فَارتَدّا عَلىٰ آثارِهِما قَصَصًاMuhammad Asad[Moses] exclaimed: "That [was the place] which we were seeking!"1 And the two turned back, retracing their footsetps,I.e., the disappearance of the fish indicated the point at which their quest was to end (see note 67).
