86 Preface وَلَئِن شِئنا لَنَذهَبَنَّ بِالَّذي أَوحَينا إِلَيكَ ثُمَّ لا تَجِدُ لَكَ بِهِ عَلَينا وَكيلًاYusuf AliIf it were Our Will, We could take away that which We have sent thee by inspiration:1 then wouldst thou find none to plead thy affair in that matter as against Us,-Even the spiritual knowledge that comes to us conies because of the favour and mercy of God. If He were to withhold it, who can call Him in question?
