44 Preface إِنَّ اللَّهَ لا يَظلِمُ النّاسَ شَيئًا وَلٰكِنَّ النّاسَ أَنفُسَهُم يَظلِمونَYusuf AliVerily God will not deal unjustly with man in aught: It is man that wrongs his own soul.1God cannot be blamed for man’s evil, nor will He deal unjustly with man. He has given him faculties and means of guidance. If man goes wrong, it is because he wrongs himself.
