19وَما لِأَحَدٍ عِندَهُ مِن نِعمَةٍ تُجزىٰMuhammad Asadnot as payment for favours received,1Lit., "no one having with him any favour to be repaid". In its widest sense, projected towards the future, the phrase implies also the expectation of a reward.
