87رَضوا بِأَن يَكونوا مَعَ الخَوالِفِ وَطُبِعَ عَلىٰ قُلوبِهِم فَهُم لا يَفقَهونَMuhammad AsadThey were well-pleased to remain with those who were left behind - wherefor their hearts have been sealed,1 so that they cannot grasp the truth.Cf. 2:7 and the corresponding note, as well as 7:100-101.
