108
لا تَقُم فيهِ أَبَدًا ۚ لَمَسجِدٌ أُسِّسَ عَلَى التَّقوىٰ مِن أَوَّلِ يَومٍ أَحَقُّ أَن تَقومَ فيهِ ۚ فيهِ رِجالٌ يُحِبّونَ أَن يَتَطَهَّروا ۚ وَاللَّهُ يُحِبُّ المُطَّهِّرينَ

ever stand thou forth therein. There is a mosque whose foundation1 was laid from the first day on piety; it is more worthy of the standing forth (for prayer) therein. In it are men who love to be purified; and God loveth those who make themselves pure.2
  • The original “Mosque of Piety” built by the Holy Prophet himself.
  • The true Muslim must be pure in body, mind, and heart. His motives should always be sincere, and his religion without any alloy of worldly gain.
