19وَأَنَّهُ لَمّا قامَ عَبدُ اللَّهِ يَدعوهُ كادوا يَكونونَ عَلَيهِ لِبَدًا(Saheeh International)And that when the Servant [i.e., Prophet] of Allāh stood up supplicating Him, they almost became about him a compacted mass."1 Crowding on top of each other in the manner of locusts in order to hear him (ṣ). "They" may refer to the jinn or to the disbelievers among the Arabs.
