70قالوا أَجِئتَنا لِنَعبُدَ اللَّهَ وَحدَهُ وَنَذَرَ ما كانَ يَعبُدُ آباؤُنا ۖ فَأتِنا بِما تَعِدُنا إِن كُنتَ مِنَ الصّادِقينَN. J. DawoodThey said: ‘Would you have us serve God only and renounce the gods which our fathers worshipped? Bring down the scourge you threaten us with, if what you say be true.’
