9هُوَ الَّذي أَرسَلَ رَسولَهُ بِالهُدىٰ وَدينِ الحَقِّ لِيُظهِرَهُ عَلَى الدّينِ كُلِّهِ وَلَو كَرِهَ المُشرِكونَMuhammad AsadHe it is who has sent forth His Apostle with [the task of] spreading guidance and the religion of truth, to the end that He make it prevail over all [false] religion,1 however hateful this may be to those who ascribe divinity to aught but God.Cf. 3:19 - "the only [true] religion in the sight of God is [man's] self surrender unto Him".
