There is an excellent example for you in Abraham and those who followed him. They said to their people: “We are quit of you and that which you worship besides Allah. We renounce you; enmity and hate will reign between us until you believe in Allah only!” Except Abraham’s saying to his father: “I shall ask Allah to forgive you, although I have no power to save you from Him. Our Lord, in You we have put our trust, and to You we turn in repentance, and to You is the final end.”
