76فَلَمّا جَنَّ عَلَيهِ اللَّيلُ رَأىٰ كَوكَبًا ۖ قالَ هٰذا رَبّي ۖ فَلَمّا أَفَلَ قالَ لا أُحِبُّ الآفِلينَN. J. DawoodWhen night drew its shadow over him, he saw a star. ‘That,’ he said, ‘is surely my God.’ But when it faded in the morning light, he said: ‘I will not worship gods that fade.’
