69وَما عَلَى الَّذينَ يَتَّقونَ مِن حِسابِهِم مِن شَيءٍ وَلٰكِن ذِكرىٰ لَعَلَّهُم يَتَّقونَMuhammad Asadfor whom those who are conscious of God are in no wise accountable. Theirs, however, is the duty to admonish [the sinners],1 so that they might become conscious of God.This is a paraphrase of the elliptic expression wa-lakin dhikra ("however, an admonition").
