42وَلَقَد أَرسَلنا إِلىٰ أُمَمٍ مِن قَبلِكَ فَأَخَذناهُم بِالبَأساءِ وَالضَّرّاءِ لَعَلَّهُم يَتَضَرَّعونَQaribullah & DarwishBefore you We sent forth to other nations, and then seized them with misery and hardship so that they might humble themselves.
