42وَلَقَد أَرسَلنا إِلىٰ أُمَمٍ مِن قَبلِكَ فَأَخَذناهُم بِالبَأساءِ وَالضَّرّاءِ لَعَلَّهُم يَتَضَرَّعونَTalal ItaniWe sent messengers to communities before you, and We afflicted them with suffering and hardship, that they may humble themselves.
