Sura 6
Aya 145
145

T. B. Irving

(XVIII) SAY: "I do not find anything forbidden in what has been revealed to me for anyone needing to eat something, unless it is something that has died[by itself] or it is blood which has already been shed, or pork-that is so filthy!-or a sinful offering that has been consecrated to something besides God. Concerning anyone who is obliged to do so, without either meaning to disobey nor exceeding his [barest]needs, your Lord is Forgiving, Merciful.
