The spoils taken from the town-dwellers and assigned by God to His Apostle shall belong to God, to the Apostle and his kinsfolk, to orphans, to the destitute and to the traveller in need; they shall not become the property of the rich among you. Whatever the Apostle gives you, accept it; and whatever he forbids you, abstain from it. Have fear of God; God is stern in retribution.
