9فَكانَ قابَ قَوسَينِ أَو أَدنىٰMuhammad Asaduntil he was but two bow-lengths away, or even nearer.1This graphic "description" of the angel's approach, based on an ancient Arabian figure of speech, is meant to convey the idea that the Angel of Revelation became a clearly perceptible, almost tangible, presence.
